Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Phase III & Phase IV

Delhi Due to the success of the Xypex surface-applied and repair system in various projects, the Delhi Metro engineering team consulted Xypex to provide a waterproofing solution for phase III. The engineering team specified Xypex Admix C-2000 NF and Xypex Concentrate for the waterproofing of phase III underground stations in conjunction with spray applied membranes on the rooftop slab.

“Fokus” Building

Warsaw Xypex Concentrate was applied to a 133 m strip between the top plate and the sheet pile wall. 

102 University Avenue

Palo Alto, California Joseph Bellomo Architects used the crystalline waterproofing and protection features of Xypex in an innovative concrete mix on their new LEED Platinum project in Palo Alto, California. A 70% slag concrete mix combined with Xypex Admix was used for the 3,600 cubic yards required for the six-story building’s façade. 

1504 Coney Island Avenue

Brooklyn, New York With more than 160,000 sq.ft. of space, this brand new retail and office building is the largest in Midwood, Brooklyn, New York. Xypex Admix C-500 was used to waterproof and protect 4,000 cu.yds. of the below grade foundation. Three months after the foundation was completed, all of the areas were dry and to date, Xypex has been performing to the owner’s and engineers’ expectations. 

19th St. Water Tank

Denver, Colorado When this set of precast modules changed from overflow to water holding use, Xypex Concentrate and Modified were chosen to create a 2,550 sq. ft. watertight structure. 

21st Century Tower

Dubai This tower is the tallest residential building in the region. Xypex was used to waterproof and protect the underground water tanks.

313@Somerset

Engineers, Meinhardt Infrastructure, faced many design challenges including a canal that ran through the centre of the building site, a very high water table and greatly elevated sulphate levels in the surrounding soils.

Boca Raton, Florida Due to the high density of population, and restrictions on construction, this below grade foundation concrete placements have to be done in multiple segments. The last picture is the application of Xypex Concentrate slurry prior to installation of the Miraseal water stop. Recommended construction joint details when using the Xypex admixture. 

409 and 499 Illinois

San Francisco, California With an especially high water table at 8 feet below grade, the possibility of saltwater attack, and a garage design calling for two parking levels at 30-ft below grade, Xypex Admix C-1000 NF was specified to waterproof and protect the below-grade slabs and perimeter walls.
