  • Renovation and Upgrading of the Bardy pool

    Quebec, Canada

    The Réfection et mise aux normes de la piscine Bardy (Rehabilitation and standard’s upgrade) project in Québec aimed to modernize and upgrade the existing municipal pool to meet current safety, hygiene, and accessibility standards. A key challenge was ensuring the long-term waterproofing and protection of the concrete structure, which was exposed to constant water and chemicals. To address this issue, Xypex Admix C-500 was added directly to the concrete mix during the batching process.
  • Saint-Philippe New Wastewater Treatment Plant

    Saint-Philippe, Canada

    The construction of a new wastewater treatment facility in Saint-Philippe presented a significant challenge in ensuring the long-term durability and watertightness of the wet well. The structure is constantly exposed to harsh wastewater conditions, including chemical attack and continuous moisture, making long-term durability and watertightness critical for operational performance. The public estimate for this project was $36.2 million.
  • Saint-Maurice Potable Water Reservoir Expansion

    Saint-Maurice, Canada

    The Municipalité de Saint-Maurice undertook the expansion of its potable water reservoir system, constructing two new reservoir units for water treatment and distribution. A key design requirement for this project was to avoid the use of traditional membranes, which are prone to degradation, detachment, and long-term maintenance issues in water containment structures.

    The City of Laval is revitalizing Couvrette Park to enhance recreational offerings and strengthen community infrastructure. The redevelopment plan includes the construction of a multifunctional chalet for all four seasons and modern aquatic facilities, creating a contemporary and accessible space for residents.
  • 8th Ave Reservoir Improvements

    Nashville, Tennessee, USA

    Initially built in 1889, the 8th Avenue Reservoir is the largest and oldest of the city's 37 reservoirs, supplying clean drinking water. Bowen Engineering chose Xypex Admix C-500 NF for its proven, durable, long-lasting waterproofing performance as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation project, including tank-in-a-tank construction, vault improvements, and overall reservoir upgrades.

    The Daejeon Expo Aquarium, located on the first basement floor of the Daejeon Science Complex in Daejeon City, Korea, spans 6,623 square meters and has quickly become a prominent attraction. This new construction features a unique two-floor design, including a 94-meter-long submerged tunnel offering panoramic views of marine life.
  • Mimar Sinan 4-Storey Underground Parkade

    Üsküdar, Turkey

    The Mimar Sinan Underground Parkade, completed in 2023 as an initiative of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, lies beneath the newly developed Mimar Sinan Square in Istanbul’s historic Üsküdar district. Extending over four underground levels and accommodating up to 956 vehicles, this facilitydirectly addresses long-standing parking shortages, eases local traffic congestion, and bolsters urban infrastructure.
  • Promenade Samuel-de- Champlain Phase 3

    Quebec City, Canada

    As part of the Phase 3 redevelopment of the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain Phase 3 along the St. Lawrence River, the Beach Station features a public swimming pool designed to reconnect the community with its waterfront heritage. To meet the high-performance expectations, Groupe Deric SIÈGE SOCIAL, the appointed contractor, strategically selected Xypex Concentrate for the construction and integral waterproofing of the swimming pool.
  • Persigo WTP Expansion

    Grand Junction, USA

    The City of Grand Junction, in partnership with Mesa County, has initiated Phase 1 of the Persigo Wastewater Treatment Plant expansion—an important step in enhancing water quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. This upgrade introduces new screening processes, advanced electrical systems, expanded biosolids storage, and improved aeration and disinfection systems, modernizing the facility to meet growing community needs.
  • Centre de traitement des boues – Etchemins

    Quebec, Canada

    The project to renovate the regional septic tank sludge treatment center of the MRC des Etchemins, a facility located in Sainte-Germaine-Station, moved forward with the upgrade, which will also increase its treatment capacity.
