Atlantis Xypex Admix C-500 NF at a dosage rate of 1.5% was added to the concrete used in the below grade machine room retaining wall to protect and waterproof. Another area where construction joint had failed resulting in considerable water entering the room was waterproofed using Xypex Concentrate and Patch'n Plug.

One & Only Resort Pool

Cape Town Xypex products were specified to waterproof and protect various areas of this One & Only Resort project, including two undersea tunnels, lift shafts, health spa pools, day water tank, penthouse swimming pool and the main one-million litre swimming pool (pictured here). Four Xypex products were used: Admix C-1000, Concentrate, Modified and Patch’n Plug.

Victoria and Alfred Site

Xypex Admix C-1000 NF is being used to waterproof two tunnels as part of a massive redevelopment of Cape Town Harbour. The two tunnels are to be located below the water channel and used to join several man-made islands. Xypex Concentrate is also being used as a Dry-Pac in pre-formed construction joints.
