    The concrete foundations were also exposed to high moisture and hydrostatic conditions due to the large footprint and variable subsurface environment, making integral waterproofing and long-term durability essential.

    To address these demands, Xypex Admix C-1000NF was incorporated directly into the concrete mix supplied by Concrete Strategies, LLC. Crystalline technology reacts with water and unhydrated cement particles to form a permanent, non-soluble structure within the concrete matrix. This reaction seals capillaries, resists hydrostatic pressure, and self-heals micro-cracks, providing continuous protection against water ingress and chemical attack throughout the service life of the foundation.

    The Xypex Admix C-Series delivered a durable and maintenance-free water proofing solution for the project’s deep foundation system. Its integral protection eliminated the need for external membranes, simplified construction, and ensured long-term structural resilience — supporting Hankook Tire’s commitment to durable, high-performance manufacturing infrastructure in the United States.
