    Private Residence - Hong Kong

Water was leaking into the rooms below the roof of this private residence. The old concrete topping was removed and the cracks were repaired with Xypex Patch'n Plug and Concentrate Dry-Pac. The total surface was then treated with two coats of Xypex Concentrate. A 5 cm topping was poured and ceramic tiles placed on top. All leaks were successfully stopped.

    Tunnels

    Tsuen Wan West MTR Station

Tsuen Wan, New Territories Built using cut and cover construction techniques, this 400 meter long, 60 meter wide box structure is approximately 15 meters below gradient in reclaimed land alongside Hong Kong Harbour. The project includes construction of approximately 200 meters of dual transition tunnel at each end. Concrete was in situ placed [no shotcrete]. The base and roof slabs are minimum 1.2 meters thick while the walls are on average 0.9 meters thick. Xypex Admix C-1000 NF has been cast into in excess of 75,000 cubic meters of concrete [mostly with minimum 500 kg of cementitious]. Over 30,000 kg of Xypex Concentrate have been applied to repair and protect diaphragm walls, construction joints, etc. Over 15,000 kg of the specialist repair mortar MP&P have been applied in general repairs such as tie bolt holes, as well as to create bedding for hydrophyllic water stops.
